Could this be you?
You may be a civil or structural engineer, whether recently qualified, working towards Chartered status or already a Chartered Engineer.
If you find working on a variety of interesting small and medium-scale projects (from domestic to £5 million) in a friendly working environment where the emphasis is on freely sharing expertise and knowledge with colleagues, to give our clients a service that is devoted to providing clear and helpful information in high-quality drawings and documentation.
Success in this field requires as much understanding of the needs of people as on the intricacies of engineering theory, and this is reflected in the number of clients and their construction teams who trust us to deliver for them, time after time.
A vital part of our team are our technicians, who provide support to the Engineers by carrying out site visits, inspections and surveys, and preparing CAD drawings to communicate the vital technical details clearly to our clients and their contractors.
We take great pride in the clarity and quality of our drawings, and rigorous attention to detail and in-depth understanding of how both modern and historic buildings are constructed. We also have advanced 3D modelling capability for BIM projects, with Revit, Robot and Advance Steel software working together for design and detailing. Skills in this area will be crucial for current and future projects.
A significant proportion of our workload is investigating and assessing existing buildings and sites, which require physical fitness and mental agility, with a naturally inquisitive nature intent on diagnosing the true causes of structural defects. Working under the guidance of an experienced Chartered Engineer, every day is as different as the places and people you meet, and the reports need to be clearly and accurately written with an engaging turn of phrase that invites the reader's interest.
